“I love the Rev It Up program! It is the easiest program I've taught to the public, and the results and excitement of my clients have been overwhelming. Not only do they get an opportunity to meet other people going through similar situations, but they also learn to become enthusiastic about their health. The program is divided into weekly sessions that build upon each other by using true fundamentals of nutrition. The hands-on teaching method is very well received, which allows my clients to feel more comfortable opening up to me. I love teaching this program and more importantly, I love LIVING the Rev It Up way!” |

“Started Rev It Up! in January 2007. I’m doing four classes at the hospital a week as part of our employee wellness program. Everyone is really positive and enjoying it so far. Interesting note from a participant after the first class as he said, “you haven’t told me what to eat yet. That’s different and I LIKE THAT!” Told him we’d talk about fuel groups next week but we’re looking at overall “real life” changes and not following a “strict diet”…It’s fun hearing all the compliments about Rev It Up!” |

| It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of support for
Tammy Beasley, RD, LD, CEDSN. I have come to know Ms. Beasley professionally
over the past year. I am a gastroenterologist in Huntsville, Alabama.
I have referred patients to Ms. Beasley for nutritional counseling
and have in turn seen patients that she has referred to me. She is
an excellent clinical nutritionist. I have been impressed with her
clinical skills and knowledge. She is always accessible and displays
great communication skills. I am also familiar with her Rev It Up Fitness
program. She has created a fantastic tool for achieving a safe and
effective approach to weight loss. |

I do LOVE "Rev-It-Up" and have finally found in it the one source for most all the information I need to help my patients get beyond "I'm-on-a-diet" thinking to "I-can- live-a-healthy-lifestyle" thinking. The majority of my patients are obese and as a result suffer from heart disease and diabetes. Often there is a desperate lack of understanding of basic nutrition principles. I have in the past had to draw from many different references, sources, and programs to get all the information I needed to communicate to my patients. "Rev-It-Up Fitness" has solid nutritional information presented in a creative, incremental, organized and timely way. It is comprehensive, yet easily understandable for patients. The program has a built-in schedule and logbook to assist the patient in tracking his progress through the program. After working through this material with a dietitian, patients are well-equipped to become independent "non-dieters" who are able to make healthy lifestyle decisions for themselves.
I also like the analogy drawn between a car engine and our "metabolic machines". I think patients will remember the information better because of this effective word picture. Tammy, I congratulate you on your excellent program and I predict "Rev-it-up Fitness" will become a "household word" among dietitians across the country. I think of it as my personal assistant!

I am writing in reference to the Rev It Up fitness program
developed by Tammy Beasley, RD, LD, CEDSN. As a physical therapist,
I was excited to find such a dynamic and comprehensive health and
wellness program. Having been through several nationally recognized
weight loss programs in the past, including Weight Watchers, Nutri-System,
and Body-for-Life, I feel this program is far superior in helping
the client truly make a LIFESTYLE CHANGE. This catch phase is often
alluded to in other programs, but the Rev It Up program, through
education, addresses all aspects of a healthy lifestyle including
nutrition, fitness, and tackling the tough psychosocial components.
Education of the client is a cornerstone of the program, providing
sound, in-depth nutrition and fitness information in an easy-to-understand,
easy-to-follow format which allows the client to make smart health
decisions in real-life situations. The program is safe, effective
and more importantly, empowering. I have recommended the program
to several colleagues, including physical therapists and physicians,
as well as to patients, and, in turn, I have received excellent
feedback from them regarding the program.
This program would be a great asset to (your corporation), providing
members with an outstanding foundation for improving their health
and wellness. |
